Most enjoyable stay with friendly staff, well appointed apartment for the price and great swimming pool with it's own bar, delightful cocktail barman, Rudi, (check out his Sangria!) and poolside dining facilities. Also the main restaurant, Bobby Jones Grill and Bar was first class where the decking outside overlooks the golf course set in beautiful umbrella pines. Late afternoon 'happy hour' is a must! We also had several breakfasts in the coffee bar by reception and 'full English' was just that...

Hotel was clean, spacious and very well run. Staff were friendly and very helpful at all times, the junior suite was spacious and well appointed. Arriving late and missing the evening meal the staff ensured that a meal was sent to the room just after our arrival including a half bottle of wine and a plate of fresh fruit. Everyday a litre of bottled water was placed in the room at no extra charge. The outdoor pool was very clean and maintained but not heated, it takes a brave soul to swim...

Very high standard of service. Simple but high quality rooms with extremely comfortable 5 star standard beds, pillows and sheets. The restaurant is surprisingly good and they cater for gluten intolerances. You can use the beach shuttle from the Hilton across the road to the gorgeous Falesia beach with beach club. As a single traveller I felt very welcome here and liked the quiet pool area. Reception staff are charming and helpful. Very good value and well located hotel.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and bright. It's main 'attraction' for me was not the waterpark, (which is included in the price and is excellent), but it's staff. They rescued us by sending my daughter's mobile phone in a taxi, to the airport when we realised two hours before departure that she had unfortunately left it in the room! Food at the hotel was reasonable and there were local restaurants a short stroll away from the hotel. Two drawbacks are that there is no free wifi in the rooms...

I travelled to Vilamoura with my mother and my three children. We occupied two twin rooms during our four night stay. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It surpassed all of our expectations I love the shower and deep bath tub . The staff were extremely kind, courteous and professional and went the extra mi. Amazing resort with even better staff, made me and my wife feel extremely well looked after. Receptionist able to deal with any requests and always with a smile no problem to big or small for the VDL staff. The resort it's self is beautiful with only a short walk to the beach where an abundance of fabulous restaurants and the resorts pool facilities. The staff were so understanding, friendly and helpful from the second we arrived till the moment we left.
