"It's my fault for not realizing the balconies facing the river are also located above the highway. I was not able to sit outside in the night or morning due to the insane traffic noise. Again, my fault for not researching more. Paid a premium rate for the room and couldn't even use it. "

"Very disappointed in our stay. Although the hotel itself was in good condition and well maintained, we booked our room/stay for our group of 4 back in January (possibly even earlier) and when we arrived to check in, we were told they didn’t have a room available. They had our reservation, just simply “we don’t have a room for you”. After a while, we were offered an “upgraded room”, but when I asked if it had 2 beds they said “no, just one”. Again we were a group of 4 adults. After more back and forth, we were offered a room with a pull out couch. No offered discount for the inconvenience, just a breakfast voucher that was already sold out of multiple menu items by 930am. We have stayed with Aloft previously and loved our experience so knowing that that they are okay with overselling their hotel when there are huge events going on and every hotel in the area was sold out is extremely disappointing and makes me not trust returning and this happening again. "

"Staff was not friendly or helpful, the place was not very clean! There were a pee spots on the toilet and the bathroom floor was disgusting! "

"Super cute hotel in the heart of downtown Louisville. The bed was so comfy, and the bathroom was nice and big. "

"Room smelled like cigarettes when we arrived, the hotel charged my card an additional 100 dollars accusing us of smoking in the room. When I called to discuss with the desk they were extremely rude and I told them we never smoked in the room because none of us are smokers and she immediately decided to be rude and hang up on me. Then claimed they have no management on duty and refused to help remedy this situation. Overall the hotel was not very clean we saw ants in a few spots."

"The hotel looked brand new. Carpets showed no signs of where. The lobby was immaculate and smelled great. There were several great options for continental breakfast. The staff especially Jake and Stephen were amazing. The only drawback to my stay was that the mattress was uncomfortable and I had a hard time getting a good sleep. The hotel is located about half a mile from fourth Street and it was very easy to walk to and from."
