"I have mobility problems so this hotel, with it's on-site parking was absolutely perfect. We stayed in one of the apartments adjacent to the hotel with it's own kitchen and lounge and were very happy. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, driving up felt like entering the set of Downton Abby!! We stayed in one of the side apartments - it was so beautiful and we loved the walking path near by. The down side is that we didn't get sheets or towels provided, (also no hand soap!) By the time we noticed, the staff had already left for the evening. Luckily we had some of our own bedding, There had been some discussion about sheets during check in, but there must clearly have been a misunderstanding. Anyway, it was still a lovely stay, and definitely makes for a funny story. I definitely recommend, but be prepared"

"Good location, paid for parking available although we didn't use it. Staff friendly enough. The photos of the rooms on Expedia don't reflect the rooms, or at least the one we had. Our room on the first floor facing the car park smelt of cigarettes, possibly from people smoking directly downstairs. There are some seatings to the front of the hotel where smoking is permitted so you always walk in to the smell of it. When someone came to clean our room, they knocked over many of the items in the bathroom including the toothbrushes which were all left for us to pick up. Our room had a pod coffee machine and paper cups, not very environmentally conscious. There are other places in town I would try next time, especially for the price we paid for our stay. "
