"My stay at this hotel was exactly the relaxing escape I needed. Having the ocean literally right outside my room was incredibly calming, and every angle felt like a postcard. While parts of the exterior looked a bit worn from the balcony view, the interior more than made up for it with beautiful, thoughtful aesthetics. The beds and linens felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the bathroom and shower were just as inviting. I loved the in-room amenities—a cozy kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and beautiful dishes and cutlery. The complimentary bottle of wine, along with coffee, tea, water, and snacks, was such a nice touch. And the Malin + Goetz hair and shower products? A personal favorite. There were just two minor drawbacks: the hotel restaurant was closed during my stay, and the walk back from The Landing restaurant down the road was quite dark—apparently the street lights haven’t been replaced since the 2017 storm. That said, The Landing made up for it with their fresh-caught grilled whole lobster (offered in three sizes)—an absolute must-try. Plus, the beach being right across the street was a huge bonus. Overall, this stay was a much-needed, peaceful treat. ✨"

"Leaving five stars, because I really liked this hotel, and would like to see it succeed. My wife and I stayed here for one week from Apr. 28 to May. 5. The hotel itself is a historic stone building. Purportedly the building has been around since the 1600s, when it was used as a company office and sleeping quarters by the Danish West India Company. The building was recently given a 17 million dollar renovation with repairs, replacements, and additions to turn it into a functional hotel. Many original pieces of the building are thankfully preserved, such as the old stone staircases. There is a small piano bar but it was not open during our stay and only open during peak seasons. We enjoyed the beautiful garden-walled saltwater pool, the free guest laundry, the historic feel and the walkabilty to downtown Christiansted. We found the staff friendly and helpful. We wished there was more history immersion. It felt sparse. The main issue we had were that the hotel is built directly across the street from "Levels" nightclub. This nightclub played music so loud that it shook our room and we could hear every single note. The nightclub did not stop and ran until 4am on friday and saturday, and 12am on sunday. Drunken patrons filled the street and were also screaming and yelling. We got almost zero sleep these nights. It was miserable. I had no idea there was a nightclub when I booked. The front desk / hotel manager did their best make it up to me for the issue and I am thankful."

"Had the best time. Good place to stay if you want to be in the middle of everything in Christiansted. The Harbor Prime had the absolute best drinks and most accommodating staff. Bartenders are on 100! We had a beautiful view of the Harbor and enjoyed the free water taxi to enjoy the beach at Hotel on the Cay. Will definitely come back again"
