Top Escalante Hotel Reviews

Ofland Escalante

Ofland Escalante

10/10 Excellent
"This place is amazing! Working in the hospitality industry my expectations are always high and very rarely met but this place far exceed them. Lean into the vibe of this place and do the Airstream. It's about the same size as the small cabins but they also have a sink and a countertop which the cabins do not. The Airstreams are a bit more rustic but what they lack in mod/cons are more than made up for by the bathrooms with the outdoor showers. The drive in movie theater is a really cool experience l and the pool feels great after a long hike in the desert. The staff are all extremely helpful and attentive. Plus the food truck is incredible! And they are absolutely dog friendly. They can go anywhere you can go. We will definitely be back."

"This was a very nice and quiet place to stay. Room was clean and we even had a little deck. It was great but I do have 2 things I didnโ€™t like, the bed was very hard and it could use a handrail of some sort by the tub."

The Padre Motel

The Padre Motel

8/10 Good
"Old place, but OK. Old enough that two queen beds meant two separate rooms! We paid extra for that (which typically means an extra bed to unload on) so ended up with a room we didnโ€™t use. It would have been a great option for a party of four who wanted some privacy. Pluses: you park right at your door, and the owner is thoughtful with amenities: extra plug outlets and strategically located night lights."

"The single room cabin with a bathroom and shower was amazing for the price. I did have to figure out how to turn off all of the LEDs as it was very bright inside at night with the lights off. The coffee shop was great. The check-in process was buggy. Towels were good. Bed was soft and comfortable. Mini split control was nice. Bench outside was nice."

"We absolutely loved this place. We highly recommend it especially if you are seeking true peace. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING, from extra towels, snacks, coffee, even an ouch pouch...awesome touches. I would mention, Escalante is about an hour from Bryce Canyon which may be something for guests to consider if they plan to do multiple days in the park. I wish I could give more than 5 stars."
