"Really comfortable bed and the room was thoughtfully decorated with a seating area and rocking chairs. The owner was a wealth of information and even made coffee cake from scratch for morning travelers."

"After a long day of travel we were very happy to find this gem in Escalante! It was bright and airy, with beautiful decor and large rooms. The pool and hot tub were excellent. We even ate in the hotel restaurant and had a delicious meal. There is not much in the town but we were just between national parks so went on the next day. "
"Great Airstreams! Very clean. Easy to find. Easy to park. Loved the laundromat right on site. The drive in theater with the retro cars and show at night wirh popcorn was a great touch! "
"Everything you would want in a room was provided. The bed and small couch were very comfy. Cozy seating outside was so appreciated after day of exploring. The owner gladly provided instructions on how to make pour drip coffee! We can’t think of anything that would have made our stay more enjoyable."
"We ended up having to stay at another property that the owner had.
Expedia double booked us at the ponderosa inn.
We arrived in at the ponderosa in escalente at 8:45pm. Expedia gave us the room code and we opened the door and there were other guests in the room.
I called archie the property owner and explained the situation. He confirmed that there was another booking for the room and expedia did not notify him of our booking.
He was able to get us a room in another of his properties. He went above and beyond to help us even though it caused him to have to get a room ready and deal with booking us in at 9 to 10 at night. "
"Very comfortable, spacious and clean. A great destination for r and r. Highway 12 from escalante and the Burr trail to the end of the pavement provide incredible scenery. The adjacent restaurant has tasty meals."
