Madalena was very lovely and welcoming. We really enjoyed our short stay here and the sunsets are really stunning. The beach is a very short walk away and is well kept.

Had a great week away in Corfu. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly and made you feel very welcome. The pool was lovely and always a bed available. Food and drink at the bar was very nice and very reasonable.
Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in other places on the island in the past and have not been pleased with the cleanliness or the condition of the rooms - SO, finding Folies was a wonder. Fantastic, authentically Greek hotel! Yes, it could do with some updating in areas but we absolutely loved its charm. We were on the 5th floor at the front and the views were stunning. Staff were very helpful and professional. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range from continental, fruit, pastries to cooked items. Loved every minute, even the ancient lift! Will definitely return!

Absolutely excellent in all respects. The staff could not have ben more helpful. Room and bathroom extremely well appointed with many electric sockets at desk height - bliss! The location was absolutely amazing. we woke up looking at the sea and at the same time we were right in the middle of the beautiful old town with all the shops and restaurants ypu could ask for. There was even a little beach just down the road. We loved it.

I returned to this hotel having stayed there last year for one night before begining a hiking holiday. This year I stayed in a standard double room with sea view and balcony. Lovely views of the bay and marina. Ideally placed to walk to tavernas, cafés/restaurants, shops and cultural/historic sites. Restaurants adjacent to the hotel closed early evening, so no disturbance to relaxation and sleeping.
Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained.
