This was our second time staying at the Village Green Lodge and both stays have been great. Good location, very friendly staff, and great restaurants nearby! We will be staying here again when visiting Door County.

great stay in Door County
Beautiful property - on the second floor so woke up to the trees outside the window. Great location away from traffic noise. Mike was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Owners and staff friendly and helpful. Clean and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Breakfast offerings just ok. One complaint--the bottom fitted sheets were too short for the bed and kept coming off and wadding up during the night. Very uncomfortable. We did not report this to the owners.

Great place for a weekend stay
This was our first time staying at this lodge and we enjoyed our stay. The lodge is located in town and just one block off the main street. Ephraim is a good central location for the whole Door County experience. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the shower looked like it was recently retiled. There is a free continental type breakfast of coffee/tea, yogurt, microwave oatmeal and fresh fruit suck as bananas and nectarines, just enough to get your day started. Our host was very accommodating often asking how we are doing every time we saw him. He also offered suggestions for sight seeing and to where to eat.

Very clean property in an excellent location
My wife and I recently completed a 4-day, 3-night stay in Door County. We decided to book a place new to us, the Village Green Lodge in Ephraim. We were very pleased with our decision to stay at the Village Green. Our room (a 1-bedroom suite) was exceptionally clean. The suite was not huge but was larger than a traditional hotel room. A bedroom area was separate from the living area. The living area included a sofa, lounge chair, table with two chairs, tv and electric fireplace. The additional space was nice for our 3-night stay. There was a small fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker and a cabinet stocked with glasses, dishes, etc. The bathroom was clean but a bit small. It was fine for us, however. The location of the property is excellent. About a 1-2 block walk to the beach, the Old Post Office (great fish boil and breakfast) and the Chef's Hat restaurant. We are likely to book this property again.

We had a wonderful weekend staying here. Very clean and friendly. Even the other guests staying here were awesome. The only thing missing was a coffee maker in the room. (we like our morning coffee and were up earlier than the coffee was ready downstairs)

Great location- only a short walk to the waterfront and the Old Post Office fish boil, etc. The manager is accessible and friendly. A quiet, clean, comfortable home-away-from-home. We will be back!

What is a bummer is neither you or your husband provided real time input which I may have been able to correct while you were here. When Scott dropped off the keys a day early I asked him twice if everything was ok and he assured me yes, with no explanation as to why you were leaving early. Wonderful!!! Our room was clean. The bed was so comfortable, we never wanted to leave. It was quiet. When we were in our room, we didn’t hear anyone else!

The Village Green Lodge was a good value for the money. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. Providing fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee and tea was a nice addition. The owner is very nice. And the location is wonderful to walk around Ephraim.

Close to Lake
Very peaceful location with lots of greenery and a short walk to the lake and restaurants. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but overall it was a good experience.

It was a quiet adult only resort. King suites were up on second floor which made it difficult for elderly to get up/down stairs.

Great Stay!
My sister and I came for a weekend away, and our stay at Village Green Lodge was fantastic. It is very clean and quiet. Mike was great - super friendly, and gave us recommendations for our stay as well. I'd highly recommend, and we will be returning!

Cant wait to stay here again.
The hotel is older but very nicely refurbished. No lake view but within walking distance of most of Ephraim shops and food. Mike--your host, tour guide, entertainer and pizza chef--is awesome. You will feel so welcome that you wont want to leave.

Great spot in Ephraim.
Our first time at Village Green, but it won’t be our last. What a pleasant little spot in the heart of Ephraim. Easy walk to many restaurants and the beach. Ephraim is the place to stay if you want to be in the middle of Door County, but away from the crowds.
