Senator Puerto Plata
It was fine. Amenities okay. Small beach on the property. Larger beach further away. Unfortunately conditions during our stay made swimming forbidden. Buffet was okay — actually better than a more expensive resort we stayed at but nothing special.

We stayed at the ibeostar in Cancun and the difference is night and day. This one in puerto plata is not well kept. The pool was dirty, paint around the hotel chipping away , food was okay.
