We had a fantastic break, the hosts were perfect, the facilities great and we enjoyed the most amazing food. The breakfast buffet was extensive with a great range of local and home made produce and this was all followed by a mesmerising choice of hot food which included local produce. There was cake on hand all day along with fresh tea and coffee and the hosts couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great stay.

I booked a room for a Monday and Tuesday night as a treat for my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary. I wanted somewhere special and the Hotel delivered it for me. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and newly opened. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed, though the view is not so great from the garden rooms. The lounge is a lovely area to sit and have a drink and the grounds, on hot days, are superb. The staff are excellent. The food is superb, but very expensive.

Lovely & very accommodating hosts & very good breakfasts. Room was spotless with king size bed, TV, sea views, plenty of storage space, compact ensuite, etc. The on site parking requires some care from drivers, especially if you have a large car. Town centre, pubs, railway station & beach all a short walk down the hill.

Lovely hotel by the sea We stayed at the Langstone Cliff hotel before a concert at Powderham castle. We arrived early afternoon and decided to have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea. Lunch was lovely and the drinks were cold. Having parasol’s kept us cool on a very hot day. Our room was lovely, quite small but had everything we needed and the air con was an added bonus. Attended a great wedding at Dartington Hall. Beautiful grounds and lovely accommodation. Food was amazing. So a great experience all round.

We chose this hotel as it was in the centre of lovely golf course far away from the hustle and bustle of a noisy seaside town.It was ideally situated enabling us to visit Datmouth,Torquay,Paington and many other places of interest. It was then nice to return to the hotel to use the leisure facilities and then enjoy a nice evening meal.

Our first mini break away alone, in 13 years and it didn't dissapoint. Anne is the most lovely host, so organised, courteous and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We were a little hot in the small double room, however Anne quickly provided a fan that assisted well. Breakfast was very tasty and scheduled for a time to suit us. Brilliant apartment Stunning decor Beautiful taste As a disabled lady, we found from parking the car to unlocking the apartment door, it was easy as all on one floor. There is a lift to get to the restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One one point, we could not find an ice tray x

Lovely apartment with lots of utensils and crockery etc. Had other useful items too. Loved the complimentary items. Loved the decoration of the apartment too. Would definitely return!

Amazing property, well managed, thoughtfully and professionally

Very nice property, most things required were supplied. Only disappointment was the pillows, ones supplie were old and very inferior quality plus they did not have pillow protectors on. This was the only downside

2nd visit amazing location and 5 star amenities. We will be back

We enjoyed our stay at this historic, well-equipped vacation apartment. The property had everything we needed. While the walk into Dartmouth was more than just a gentle stroll, it was a great way to work up an appetite for the town’s restaurants and cafes. We found enough to keep us occupied in Dartmouth and only felt the need to use our car on a rainy day.
