"Staffs were great and were multilingual. Great courtesy provided throughout. Could do with more on deck staffing as breakfast can be very crowded. Hats off to the staff for always being so kind and courteous. Overall stay was comfortable. Lift availability can alter sides but this is not an issue."

"Took about 45 minutes to check in. Reception couldn't find my reservation even though I showed him my reservation information from hotels.com and the receipt. He even got the night manager involved and still no luck. Finally after about 45 minutes he agreed to let me have a room and he would contact hotels.com in the morning. I was shown to a room on the 3rd floor, no elevator and with an A/C that wasn't working. I didn't get any sleep at all given the hot humid condition. Also no toilet paper...

"Had a wonderful stay at Mercure Jakarta Kota. I must say, the front office staff went out of their way to take care of my requirements and even ordered some IKEA products I wanted to carry back. Special thanks to Rika & Hafist Subchan for their excellent customer service. The staff across were nice and courteous and always helpful - house keeping, restaurant, room service, support staff and front office. The rooms were spacious and nice, and of course the breakfast buffet too! Was a pleasant stay and would love to come back again. "

"Very nice , breakfast . The price to get your clothes laundered was outrageous. The best breakfast buffet for $5 usd and to get a couple pairs of underwear/ undershirts and socks was going to cost $20 usd !!!! Wow I could get my undies dry cleaned for less than that in the states!!
But overall good location and food was wonderful. Room was nice but not fantastic. "
