I had very little time in this hotel as it was just a bed for the night before an early flight from nearby ALC. It served the purpose well. There is a small front desk at the entry that isn't staffed after 10pm. Fortunately the hotel staff contacted my the day before. I needed to arrange a very early taxi and they took care of this for me. All in all I was satisfied with the interaction, although having a staff member around might have been crucial were there a problem with the taxi or any other issue.

This hostel was convenient, as we didn’t arrive in time to catch the last train to Valencia. It was small, but that is what we expected. Room for literally two twin beds and a bathroom. Located on the edge of town. We walked around and didn’t feel unsafe at all. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, they even called us a taxi. Would stay here again for a quick overnight.

Great place for airport stopover.
Simple, very clean room. Well situated for early flight out of the airport. Reception staff very friendly and professional. Booked me a taxi transfer to the airport.

Five minute drive from airport. Nice little town plenty of bars and restaurants close by. 25 minure walk to a beautiful beach with nice restaurants . Communication with hotel was great. They happily booked us a taxi to the airpprt for the following morning as we had a very earky flight home. All in all great value for money.

Paco was so helpful. It's a close stay to the airport and just a short bus ride into the main part of Alicante. Nice quiet place to walk around explore, outside of the city.

Good value
A good overnight stop, basic but very comfortable room.excelent value for money. Very friendly helpful staff both before arriving and during our stay with good communication. Nice breakfast. Would stay again.

I liked it.
The bedroom and bathroom were small but were well designed and comfortable. There are three decent supermarkets within a few minutes’ walk, and the locality is quite pleasant. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Good value for money.

The owner Paco is the nicest person you will ever meet and will help you in anyway possible on where to go or how to get around and Marta his assistant and manager is such a great help with everything you may need help with and she shared some traditional spanish breakfast things with me, she is a sweetheart! And pretty too! Highly recommended Hostal Pansimar and minutes from Alicante city center by bus...only about a 15 minutes ride..will be back to stay there when i come back to look for an apartment in Alicante! Spaniards are the best❤

The facilities are extremally clean, the staff members are very professional, very friendly and exremally helpful! The only problem I experienced myself was the lack of respect from other guests with a lot of noise; TV very loud, slamming the doors. Unfortunately is not the employee's fault, but certainly the noise level is an issue.

Excellent friendly hostal.
Friendly, family run basic hotel handy for airport stopover. I have used this several times and as always, it was comfortable, spotlessly clean with good, friendly service.

I have given Hostal Pensinar 5 stars as it is great value for money. It's in a good location for the airport, is clean and has lovely friendly staff. It's within walking distance of a large natural beach and is situated in a little town with several bars/restaurants. It's probably not ideal for a prolonged stay, but for a day or two before flying home it's perfect.

Last stay of trip
Just an overnight stay before a flight. I was impressed by the quick response to emails and the information given. Very good welcome indeed. Room was smaller than I thought but the bed was far more comfortable than several other hotels that cost more on this trip! Room was very clean and well equipped, as was the ensuite. Quiet location even though close to airport & main access roads. Breakfast looked very good, fresh baked pastries, ground coffee, another time would have had some but can't eat before travelling!. Being a solo traveler it was very good indeed to be made welcome, definitely recommend.

Good location for airport
Close to the airport. Good value for a budget stay. Would use it again for early or late flights. However we were lucky finding parking space just outside. I think this could be tricky

The hotel is well sited for an overnight stop en route to or from Alicante airport. It was adequate for this and is reflected in a very favourable rate. Due to the very recent storms and floods, the air conditioning did not work which made for an uncomfortable night, temperature wise. The manager was very apologetic and extremely generous in wishing to offset this.

Despite very challenging conditions with the worst weather Alicante seen for many years causing flooding and power cuts the hotel was clean and the staff did everything they could to help their guests still enjoy their stay. Would stay again when flying to/from Alicante , hopefully with better weather next time

Second year stay, single room, not particularly spacious but has what you need. Clean, crisp white cotton bed linen. Squeaky bed last year still in use this year!! But TV, air conditioning, free Wi Fi and 15 mins from airport. Hotel booked taxi no problems

Great stopover
Simple and basic room but great air con and nice bathroom. Breakfast was good value. Staff were very helpful. Great for our one night stopover after a late night flight arrival into Alicante
