Superior Inn Hotel and Conference Centre Thunder Bay
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was clean, the window coverings just a little stained but seemed clean. Only problem I found was the room was a long distance from the front door and all other exit doors were only for emergency use. Would be good if I could parked closer to the room and use an alternative door to make it less of a walk to the room with my mobility issues. "
"The hot tub jets wouldn’t turn on and the pool was rather cold. The room was very clean and the breakfast was good, Our biggest concern was between 11:00 & 12:00 at night, we were rudely awaken by a loud and obnoxious neighbour. We tried 2 times to contact the front desk to complain, no one answered? The neighbour continued to interrupt our sleep. I did complain to the front desk in the morning and then called back. We were told we would get a full refund, but only got a $65.00 refund. Definitely, something, but not what was expected. Rather disappointing because all we wanted was a safe, restful night. "
"Good service by staff. Poor heating system they had a little electric plug in heater for extra heat and blanket was thin and tv was small and didn’t work well."
"Very old, dirty. I would never stay there again! My two kids and I had no choice to stay there or else I would have changed hotels. We didn’t feel safe at all, needles all over the building. Drunks in the parking lot, we even found random drunks in the hallway downstairs by the pool. The smell of ammonia and mold literally made me sick. There was no heat in the room, no light bulbs in the lamps, the tv didn’t work, it was just horrible. The building needs an upgrade. The pool needs a cleaning and is unsafe for children. I wish I didn’t spend $180 a night to stay there with my two little kids for 3 nights. Breakfast was about the only thing that was good and that’s because we got a ticket to go to the detached restaurant. Never again!"
"Very nice and clean hotel. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Skal Restaurant is quite and nice. This hotel have an airport shuttle which runs every 15 min. The check out time is 11 am but when i asked then they offered me untill 1 pm which was really helpful.
The hotel is just minutes away from the ThunderBay airport and walking distance to walmart and some eateries which is nice. Thanks to all the staff who made my stay so nice."
