This hotel is in the city center with restaurants and shopping. The old town is beautiful. Our room had a balcony which was very nice. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful.
Good Inn, great breakfast. Amazing location, minutes to most attractions. Room warm, comfortable and clean. Hair dryer and straightners in the room. Only downside 79 steps to the room, it does say stairs but not how many. Not ideal for people with health issues. Was able to leave bags at the start and end of our holiday.
Incredible location. Be aware that there is no lift, but a small price to pay for a nice, quiet, well appointed room in the center of everything in Old Town. The first set of rooms can be a little noisy due to the pub downstairs and street traffic, but again, that is what happens when you book a boutique hotel above a pub. The upper floors were perfectly quiet and lovely. The room needed a bit of dusting, and the mattress was incredibly firm, but overall, great value for the price point!!
Good rooms, well located hotel. No lobby area to speak of and I would not recommend their restaurant. I ended up having to walk and eat somewhere else, as my main plate never showed up.
It was a very nice boutique hotel. The food was quite nice and staff very accommodating. The hike up the 3 floors was something we had to get prepared to do each day! Only 3 rooms all the way up there, 2 other floors with 3 each so you can request a lower floor.
It is located on the Royal Mile and everything is so close! Great spot for our short 4 day adventure.
The room was clean, nicely decorated and cosy.
It was in a fantastic location, and really walkable to all main attractions.
There was a bar/restaurant downstairs which had a lively atmosphere (and shows sport on a big screen), but the rooms were soundproofed really well and you couldn’t tell if that isn’t your sort of thing.
We were able to keep our bags safe at the hotel before check-in and after check-out as well, which was great due to travel times.
Would definitely return to this hotel!
Hotel is over a bar that get loud in the evening. There is no elevator. The room we were in was recently remodeled and lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious including most amenities needed. The breakfast is not a buffet style, but has very good selections and they are delicious. Most nights, the pub has live music, which is a plus. From the room, the view of the city is beautiful, and the hotel is perfectly located; walking distance to major tourist attractions and many restaurants with a variety of cuisines are all at walking distance. Also, there are a few supermarkets and convenient stores (open 24 hours) a few feet away, which is great for travelers.
My stay at Inn on the Mile was lovely. Great location and friendly staff. This was my first solo international trip and was nice to have sych a positive experience.
Great bar and music on first floor. All tourist sites very walkable from this location. Good access to public transportation. Long term parking is not available. Long term parking garage is ten minute walk away.
We loved being on The Mile at The Mile Inn. It was a hopping part of town, but quieted down my 10pm. My husband is vegetarian, and they had ALOT of options on their menu. We loved sitting outside in the front, and the night time bar crew was great.
