Comfortable older hotel, reminded us a bit of Fawlty Towers! Good value for money, great breakfasts. Our room was well equipped but very small, about the minimum to accommodate two twin beds.

The facility is older; there's no denying that. However, if you're sightseeing in the area and need a safe, comfortable place to sleep and shower, then this place suits. My sister and i shared a twin room for one night, had dinner at a close, very good restaurant, and slept in comfortable beds. We had to depart before breakfast was served and reception staff voluntarily offered bag lunches for super early the next morning. I reccommend it for the convenience and cost.

Unfortunately the first impression you get is a tired hotel needing some TLC but the staff are all great and the rooms clean with some nice touches. Bottles Waters/biscuits/shower gel. Breakfast was lovely. Great location. Would recommend, staff were very friendly and helpful. Don’t be put off on arrival. arrival.

Stayed here for one night as we were catching a flight home the next morning. The property is much older looking than in the photos. The room was very clean but extremely small (I could hear someone in the next room snoring) so we were glad we were only spending one night there. Also the reception on the TV was really poor - feed kept cutting out which was frustrating. Front desk staff was pleasant but made a comment that I had a “strange” last name which was a bit off putting but he did offer to put together a boxed lunch for us since we would be missing breakfast which was very nice. I will say that the location is really good as you are a short walk to the town centre which has restaurants and other amenities.

We were made to feel extremely welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean.Substantial breakfast, cooked while you waited. Easy walking distance to shops, cafe`s etc.

Whilst driving into the driveway and how well the garden looked we thought "waow nice".. however then seeing the condition of the property we almost drove out again. Such a tired looking building with so much potential . Once inside our room was fine, and we had a lovely relaxed evening in the lounge with a beer.. the young man behind the desk was wondeful as was the young waitress .. the food was lovely and we enjoyed the stay... please please get some maintenance on the outside as uou have an amazing building with so much potential.
