The room, shared spaces and breakfast room were beautiful, the staff were fantastic and answered every question, including booking taxis for us, and the breakfast was delicious. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Amazing staff location and facilities

These Apartments are immaculate and in an excellent and convenient location. We upgraded to an apartment with a view of the town and sea which was a great sun trap to enjoy breakfast! No need to take anything with you as all basics are provided eg towels, hairdryer, toiletries, tea towels etc. Valet parking available at extra charge - a must if you have a car as parking spaces few and far between. Parking is off site so 10 mins notice required to retrieve vehicle. Can't wait to return-...

A great hotel with the usual aspect of the old theatre and cinema still there. The hotel is also perfectly positioned for strolls into the town and to the sea . Great views from the terrace. A good selection at breakfast

Our stay was fabulous with nothing to fault it. Our host was looking out for us when we arrived, helped with parking and very welcoming. The apartment, room, and terrace were lovely with great attention to detail. Great breakfast. The accommodation was only minutes away from the duomo but also situated in a small very pretty square.

We loved our stay at Donna Carmela, beautiful boutique hotel, no expense has been spared in making it as nice as possible. Staff were charming, and the off season prices were very reasonable. That part of Sicily is very built up but the hotel is an oasis of peace.

Breakfast/Room service - Babita was very welcoming with a smile every morning. Works 6 days a week cleaning and serving the whole place. Lovely to speak to. Always positive to see her in the morning. Enjoyed my breakfast time. Then we have Alessia who is the main receptionist, we celebrated our birthdays, she told me places to visit, was very kind and we had good conversations. The hotel is small but well run. Very friendly staff and it is right in the middle of the town. Very convenient. We used their garage. Lovely fun staff running breakfast and if having a cooked breakfast it turned up almost immediately. It does not feel like the normal tourist hotel. Loved it

Room was as expected, bed was comfortable as you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Bathroom was large as well and had the hotel branded goods. For the breakfast area, there was an option to sit outside, which was pleasant. Plenty of options as well and the staff where ready at hand to address any requests. This hotel is a class act. Beautifully appointed, every detail taken care of, lovely linen, furniture and decoration. Walking distance into Central Taormina and all its restaurants. Close to the biological gardens. Lovely helpful staff. Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant is easily the best hotel breakfast I have had since Chewton Glen in the UK! Highly recommended.

The Grand Hotel Timeo is a beautiful place to stay, the staff are charming and attentive, the service is excellent and the position in Taormina very well placed for excellent views across the bay and towards Etna.

After reading reviews booked a two night stay & was very pleased that we did. Very welcoming attentive staff. Lovely modernised period building, in a perfect position to explore the old town. Excellent generous breakfast.

Loved this hotel - greeted by friendly staff and offered a drink as soon as we arrived which was very welcome. Rooms totally unique. Lovely sitting area up on top patio to relax after a long day - staff kindly made us a pot of tea when our tea bags ran out with bone china tea cups!!
