My wife wrote this review as she loved the place so much. But I share her enthusiasm:
The staff was really good, it felt like coming home to grandma’s house, as it is true to its name: Grandma’s house, where you are treated with kindness and love. The place has a family feeling. You can see the photos of the family in the main reception area. Maria and Javiera greeted us with warmth and explained the history of the house.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. As they only serve breakfast...

Very nice rooms, great receptionist who helped with booking activities, clean pool, very close to downtown - we walked 15 minutes to dinner and drinks every night

We were really pleasantly surprised, spacious accommodation, a view of the ocean (bungalow 1) and gardens blooming with beautiful foilage and flowers.
The restaurant was good and we had to drag ourselves away to eat outside. Breakfast the cooked part did not change so we wrote suggestions before we left of how they could improve it. The hotel is lovely. Set in beautiful gardens. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was the best we had had on our 4 week Brazil Argentina Chile and Easter Island. Wolfgang is friendly and kind. He makes sure to speak to everyone personally ally at breakfast. He is a mine of information about the island. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s perfect. X

Fantastic four night stay at this charming place with stunning views over the Pacific.
Staff were helpful & very welcoming.
My only comment would be the slow speed of dinner service although this appears to be cultural for the island!

Hotel owner was very nice and helpful. All was good, but I would advise to put signs so it would be easier to find the hotel. If you like quiet break, it's the best place! Eventhough there were local troubles in the island with locals rebelling against Chile goverment and closed all sites for us, owner did everithing possible to help. It was holiday to remember!

I had a great time on Easter Island. I was there for 5 days and the Cabañas Keuhenua host was waiting at the airport to pick me up! She didn't speak English, but we made it work! I had breakfast in the little kitchen/dinning nook right next to my cabana every morning and the fresh bread daily and homemade jam was delicious with my coffee and homegrown papaya smoothie. My cabana was straightened up every day and I had a room with 1 double bed and 1 single with a bathroom. She has a beautiful...

Easter Island, or Rapa Nui, offers a wealth of captivating experiences for families seeking adventure and cultural enrichment. Start your exploration at the iconic Ahu Tongariki, home to the largest group of moai statues on the island. Children will marvel at these towering figures while learning about the rich history behind them. Next, head to Rano Raraku, the quarry where the moai were sculpted; the opportunity to hike up to the crater lake provides breathtaking views and a chance to spot local wildlife. For a fun, interactive experience, visit the Anakena Beach, where families can relax on the sandy shores and enjoy the calm waters—perfect for swimming and building sandcastles. Engage in a cultural experience at the village of Hanga Roa, where you can witness traditional dance performances and try local delicacies, introducing your children to the island's unique heritage. For accommodation, consider staying near Hanga Roa, which boasts several family-friendly hotels offering spacious rooms and amenities tailored for younger guests. This area serves as a great base for your adventures, providing easy access to these attractions while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for an unforgettable family holiday.
