"Nice friendly staff on arrival. Room was large and comfortable, with ensuite bathroom. Lovely large bath, but shower was a bit hit and miss with temperature. Well stocked hospitality tray which included hot chocolate and biscuits, plus tea and coffee. Hotel is conveniently located to town, beach, restaurants and theatres. On site parking was a bonus (and free). Breakfast was cereal, fruit salad etc, plus choice of hot food, cooked to order. This was our third stay and will be returning. Thank you."

"The whole of the hotel was presentable. The staff were friendly and professional including dining room supervisor Laura and her staff, front of house manager Osge, receptionists Steph and Bianca. The food was excellent especially Christmas Day lunch. Thank you to the Cavendish for a brilliant week."

"Amazing room. Like a suite with a separate sitting room. Sea and downland views from the bedroom and sea view from sitting room. Spotless rooms and bathroom. Lashings of hot water. Super quiet too. I eat in the conservatory in the evening and the menu was very varied. Everything I had was cooked perfectly. The breakfast offered excellent choice on the cold front, but i did not try, cold meats, cereals, yoghurt, fruit juices, fruit salad, grapefruit. It was limited on the cooked front and I had the full English. I would have liked to have seen Eggs Benedict or Eggs Royale as like these when away, but this is a suggestion for improvement. For the price I paid I was very satisfied. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Thank you."
