we absolutely enjoyed our staying here. The front desk was amazing and everything about the hotel makes you feel so warm. I’ll definitely be coming back.
The Huntting Inn was such an amazing place to stay for our girls weekend! Amazing location walking distance to downtown East Hampton and the staff was so incredible. We will definitely be back!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Beach passes, bikes, chairs, towels available.

Cute inn with friendly staff. WiFi connectivity and strength was terrible though. There was also one step that I kept tripping over going up and down stairs.
The Huntting Inn was founded in the 18th century. The room we had was spacious with a beautiful modern bathroom, and a king-sized bed. Still you feel like you are on a walk back in time with narrow halls and steps. The staff was welcoming and cordial. We’d happily go back!

One of the very few options in East Hampton that offered a one night stay, most have a 2-night minimum. An old, charming inn that was very welcoming and clean. Our king bed room was spacious enough and decorated nicely. The bathroom was very clean and modernized. We did have to walk up a flight of stairs with our luggage which wasn’t difficult for us but may be for some.
Soaking wet carpet upon arrival and given the season there were no other rooms. Was provided towels to put down on top of the wet carpet. Room was minuscule - the insane price for this room and it didn’t even have room for two nightstands (and yes I get it is the Hamptons in the summer). At check out wasn’t even asked if I enjoyed my stay (not even sure the receptionist looked at me). Definitely a tired property. The receptionist that checked me in was the shining star of the stay.
This is the East Hampton we remember from many years ago, My spouse and I have been long time home owners in the East Hampton area and found ourselves staying at the Huntting Inn as we were in the process of moving back into our newly renovated home. Our stay covered three nights and it could not have been a better experience. The room was immaculate, very upto date--clearly they have invested in the property. The staff was thoughtful and very helpful ranging from the modified continental breakfast to the wonderful Palm Restaurant on-site. Our stay was in Winter when much in the area is closed. After going to a local movie theater where the movie and commercials ran much longer than expected, we thought we had missed the closing of the kitchen. We had but the restaurant captain personally cooked each of us a wonderful meal despite having sent the regular crew home for the evening. We could not recommend the Inn more.
What a wonderful place to stay! The room was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We loved how close it was to town. We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The Palm restaurant downstairs was nice to have on property and the food was great. We will definitely stay again!
