East Elmhurst Trip

The room was clean, but the bed frame squeaked when you got into bed. The room was tiny—no microwave, coffee pot, or desk. The door was noisy when you opened it. The TV had a tear in the screen.

On xmas day, they closed breakfast early so we missed it. Then there was a delay for lunch so we left. No benefit for waiving housekeeping. Surprisingly a low res tv.

Hotel Riu Plaza Manhattan Times Square completed the dream trip to NYC during Christmas! The location was optimal. The staff was kind. Service was efficient. Lobby area was beautifully decorated for amazing photos by the front window, and cozy and chill for moments before and after interacting with the busy NYC streets. The hotel room was immaculately clean. The bed was comfy. The shower was refreshing. The staff said, “This is your home in NYC”, and it surely felt like home!

The elevators were horrible! Half of them didn’t work. Other than that it was great. A little noisy in the room from outside noise and not great insulation from the window.
