Unfortunately access from car park to hotel is poor, and very difficult to carry cases and bags up the stairs as there is no lift."

"The Bailbrook Lodge is a very old, traditional hotel, shabby but spotlessly clean with lovely white linen. Our en suite had a rolltop bath. Rumour has it the room next to ours is haunted but we heard no noise whatsoever during our stay. As it is pretty close to the centre of Bath we got a taxi in and out to the sights rather than take the car. Staff were very friendly and I would recommend a stay here. Only downside was the Wifi which only worked intermittantly and on the ground floor rather than upstairs in the rooms."
"Beautiful and very spacious apartment. Fully equipped kitchen. King bed and bunk beds in separate bedrooms. Bathroom has bath and separate shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had a lovely time and would come back. It’s convenient for the Cotswolds, Bath, Bristol and lovely countryside and villages nearby, and not far from the M4 - though it’s in a quiet little village. The pub itself is lovely too. "
