"Conveniently located off of I-40 and the price was reasonable. The only downside that I saw to the stay was breakfast was not as advertised. Only thing that was available was waffles and cereal."

"The hotel is unique and wonderful. It is an unmanned property, so you won’t necessarily see another person while you’re there. You’ll receive a door code when you arrive, and instructions on where to find the key to your room. There is a large common room with kitchen facilities and room to gather and relax. Our room was large, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The ceiling fan helped to keep us comfortable, as did the air conditioning unit with a remote control. Shampoo, conditioner body wash and hand soap were all provided, If we every happen to pass through Okemah, OK again, we will definitely stay at the Velvet Woody!"

Waterfront Lake Eufaula Home: Multi-level Balcony

"The home had the prettiest views especially sunrise. It was set up to entertain people. Which worked perfectly because we were in for a family funeral and it allowed us to invite other family over for a home cooked dinner. The staff was amazing! I emailed to ask what type coffee maker they had so I could get coffee. She said no need. The supplied coffee and paper plates and above and beyond, everything to make s’mores for the kids. We are considering coming back in the summer. "
