Booked a long weekend away here and we absolutely loved it! Its such a lovely hotel with quaint and interior and furniture. The staff are so helpful and kind it was easy to see why this hotel is so popular. I will definitely be back as it was perfectly located for a beach walk and close to Dunoon highlights to visit. Thank you again for a fabtastic stay

Stay at the Park.
Room was lovely, no carpark so no need to ask for car registration. Breakfast order sheet poorly printed. Room was not serviced during stay. Heating system was fantastic.

Hotel staff made us feel welcome. Room was a wee bit dated but more importantly clean and warm, had lots of hot water and a great shower. Breakfast was fantastic, very good ingredients and well cooked. Hotel situated a bit outside town centre but it is within walking distance. Will recommend to friends and family, will return on next visit to Dunoon.

Great Hostess and good food. The rooms are spacious and everything is up to date and very clean. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food was very good and well presented. Service was great. The view is excellent. Highly recommend.

Loved this hotel value for money clean rooms and communal areas had dinner and breakfast the choice was great. staff very helpful and smiling day and night,rooms need a wee upgrade paint wise and refresh grout in bathroom but otherwise lovley hotel could even see the sea at back of property Loved it

Noisy with small happy dog in room next to mine. Dinner service normally offered each night not available one night. Staff were asked to hold cooked breakfast items each morning until I could enjoy my coffee, never happened, cooked food always arrived too soon. Shower small, uncomfortable, awkward, water never hot enough. On positive note location by seaside was lovely. One female staff person in particular worked very hard to accommodate guests. No lift to bring bags to second floor. Stayed 3 nights, linens were never replaced, garbage never emptied.

My room was very tired and shabby. It is incredibly creaky so you can hear everyone moving about meaning a good nights sleep is tricky. Cleaning could have been better. I needed to leave at 7:30 but breakfast was not served until 8 and no option for a light alternative or discounted price to take account of this.

Well it was Ok, but some one had done a poor job at painting as they had not bothered to mask the door handles and the furniture in my room looked poor as there was chips all over the furniture. Also paint on the edges of the carpet, and I did not sleep in the bed but on top of it as it felt like needed to be replaced.

Dirty, dark, and dingy. Room and property overall were nothing like the photos. Teeny bathroom with a crusty shower, smudges all over the walls. Towels with stains on them. Poorly decorated. Would avoid at all costs

Enjoyed the Suite
We stayed in the 'Suite', a large room up a couple of steep flights of stairs. The climb is probably the only downside to the room. Large, clean, good sea view, comfortable bed. What's not to like. Good breakfast, easy to park outside on the street, quiet park of town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The major problem was breakfast.I paid for two nights bed and breakfast. You had to give your choice the night before. On the second night I did this and the only slot available for us to eat the next morning was 08.00 or 08.15 which was totally unacceptable to us.I refused this option and was given no alternatives. This is a ludicrous situation and something I have never experienced at any hotels that I have stayed at around the world. In effect I paid for two breakfasts that were unavailable to me ,the paying customer ,which is no way to treat your guests...

First impression of the front of the property was very good, with lots of colourful hanging baskets. The staff and service here were exceptional- very friendly and helpful at all times. Excellent food choices for breakfast and the best cooked breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Warm, cosy room, super powerful shower. Only negatives were the decor was a bit dated and the room was a bit tired. But the positives outweighed the negatives. This was our third visit, so that speaks for itself. Well done to the welcoming and friendly staff for their lovely service. We will be back! 😊

Excellent stay.
Single night stay for Graduation ceremony, accompanied by family. Warm and friendly welcome at check in. Triple room suitably sized and adequate for our needs. room was clean, fresh, cosy, bathroom was clean and modern, with a good hot shower (however shower cubicle in this room maybe a wee bit cramped for a larger person). Although not normally a fan of ordering breakfast the night before we were happy enough with the seating times available and understand that this method works best for this establishment to ensure the dining area is not overcrowded all at once. Breakfast was prepared perfectly for each of our different requests and served together. Both members of staff that we had seen during our stay were warm and friendly and nothing seemed to be a problem for them. Check out was seamless, it was a pleasure to stay and will be happy to return again.

Our stay at the hotel was a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was superb. The hotel is located a short distance from the town. I would certainly recommend this hotel to any visitors to Dunoon who are looking for a good hotel at a reasonable price.

I was in the Suite in the attic. The room was amazing with windows showing the view of the water. The room had everything you would need and plenty of space to move around. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding fresh and clean. The bathroom had a shower and a jacuzzi bath. The cooked breakfast in the morning was brilliant and certainly set you up for the rest of the day. All the staff were cheerful and helpful and ready to help. The only downside were the steep stairs into the attic however, once you were up, the view was well worth the effort.
