Ok, it's a basic hotel but if you're looking for somewhere cheap in central Dunedin with parking, you’ll go a long way to beat the Leviathan.

Overall it is a cool place to stay, but it would be a lot nicer if it was maintained. The windows were cracked and thin, mouldy. The bath tub jets do not work - nor the power in the bathroom. The carpet is so old and worn out that it’s lifted up leaving a trip hazard in the room. It was also quite dusty. A little TLC and it would be worth the price.
