The property was located in the heart of Temple Bar district which was very ideal. When we arrived, the staff was able to book us into a room before our check-in time which was much appreciated. The overall aesthetic of the property felt true to their online marketing -- fun, chic vibe.
I was a bit disappointed in our room accommodations. We were told this was a upgrade, which I later learned was because of some design they recently completed in the bathroom. Our room was a corner unit that looked into a bare stairwell. I could care less about the view, but the room had a strange spatial configuration which made it really difficult to fit our luggage and have our luggage simultaneously open. Plus, the bathroom flooded every time we ran the shower. I think this was due to the glass not extending far enough beyond the showerhead and the curb or shower pan not gradating towards the drains. We were only there two nights, and by the time we had our first flooding experience, it only 36 hours until check-out so we decided to live with it during our time there. Lastly, the heating unit was not controllable from our room. We later learned that you had to call into the front desk and they would manually turn it off and on. After cooking our first night, we tried to call in the morning but couldn't find a phone to reach the reception. It was resolved after an in-person conversation.
A minor disappointment given that splurgy expense to stay there and the high expectations going in.
