"The hotel was clean. When my friend and I checked in we were offered bottles of water or soda. We were also told there were cookies being baked. Upon entering our room and bringing in our luggage I thought it would be brilliant to use the door latch to hold the door open…. Instead it locked us out of the room. The staff was very quick to respond to the issue. I said “you look like a pro, this has happened before.” He responded, “you weren’t the first and you won’t be the last.” I liked the sarcasm. After getting situated and back into our room, we had a very quiet and good rest. We had a decent cooked buffet breakfast. When I went to checkout I was given another bag of goodies. We are planning on staying here again on our way back towards home."

"Parking was easy except it is dog friendly and i am all for dogs but a rather large dog pooped in the grass by my door and I walked right thru it. Gross not the hotels fault. They did give me cleaning supplies to clean my floor being i tracked it into my room. It was never picked up. It was very close to zoo and downtown dublin and we still had a lovely time. Our soap was barely filled and the ice was kinda far to retreive but for the price i could walk it! The staff was super nice and friendly!"

"The pool was unfortunately so cold we were unable to go in until our last day. There were ants in the pool room but it seemed like they didn’t something to get rid of them. There was no shampoo or condition in our room but the staff replaced it right away. There were streamers from previous guests still stuck on the mirror. Other than that we had a great time!"

"The door keys did not work. The main door had obviously been broken into with a crowbar. The heavy duty metal door frame was heavily bent inward and the door latch parts were exposed to the outside. The deadbolt was broken, would not lock. The refrigerator was dead. It had power but was not cold. There was something that looked like remnants of vomit spray on the bedroom door and it was chunky. The headboard in the master bedroom looked like it was used for a cat-scratching board. The upholstery was shredded and flaking off. The couch in the living room looked like it was a roadside freebee. Needless to say the room looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The place smelled like a fraternity had a beer party in it and someone got alcohol sick. The Sonesta's cleaning service obviously tried to clean it, but the alcohol/puke smell was still lingering. All the windows were open when we got in the room too, probably because of the smell. Some of the frames were broken and the windows would not easily close. The final straw was when we saw baby roaches crawling around. We stayed long enough to see all this and moved on. I would not suggest Sonesta Simply Suites. This particular room needs be condemned."

"Horrible experience not honor Expedia reservation and try to resolve with hotel and Expedia to get my money back and at end they did! Terrible customer service hotel and Expedia. Eventually got my just below $ 200 money back and a credit on Expedia, but it was a horrible process with many emails and had to fight to get my money back even though it was their mistake hotel and not mine. Very poor by both. "

"It was a nice room, however, the room temperature was difficult to control. Maybe a thermostat issue. It was hot then cold so while trying to sleep it was covers on covers off all night. "
