"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff I didnt really interact with except Barry the manager i really liked him. My cabin was way better than I expected big and roomy i had the double room with the patio. My dog was with me and she settled right in. Not all rooms are pet friendly but that is understandable."
"Don't go by first impressions as when we parked our motorcycles in front we thought "Uh Oh!!!" Once in our room it was a different story ...
Very charming and rustic with a western theme. The bed was fantastic and I got a great nights sleep. The room was spacious and had chairs and tables for our gear.
One drawback is ashtrays on tables just outside each room. If you smoke, you'll love this. If you don't, it may be a problem as the smell of cigarette smoke can linger long after the smoker has departed.
We were able to park our motorcycles in the back lot and they were safe.
We dined nearby at Ewing's and had the best meal of the entire trip there. Hint ... if you like Mac and Cheese, try the Truffle pasta. It was most excellent.
And yes ... I would definitely stay here again."
"This was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL property right on the river, perfect for a romantic getaway weekend or a relaxing fishing trip. Will absolutely be coming back again and again!"
"We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this cute, very clean, updated motel. The hostess was extremely nice and helpful. The room was clean and beautifully updated. The shower was huge! The bed was comfortable, and the room had a Keurig with coffee pods and biscotti. The grounds are well taken care of and clean. The pool was lovely. I really liked the older feel of the property. The sign states the property originated in 1955. It has a lot of charm and I really liked the character of the place. There are a lot of outdoor seating areas, and the property is within walking distance of everything in Kernville. I would definitely stay again!"
