"Nice location, a little out of the hustle and bustle of town, close to Exit Glacier. Clean well-appointed rooms. Comfortable beds. Fabulous shower. Helpful kitchenette. Plenty of space in the room. Great find. Only thing we did not like: would have liked more check in info prior to arrival. We were nervous we would not be able to get the info sent through hotels.com bcs of lack of internet/cell service while traveling, but we did eventually receive a text directly from the Spruce Lodge staff."

"This property was quaint, clean and comfortable. He bathroom and furnishings appeared brand new. And the exterior of the property was well kept and attractive. Although no view of the harbor, the up close mountain view was beautiful. Desk staff were very friendly."

"Very roomy accommodation very clean you can fit four people in this place easily. Very close to everything. I’m a solo traveler on a budget and although it has all the positives if I go again here in Alaska on my own, I will not stay here just because it’s too pricey I didn’t like the fact that I have to pay 4% to use my credit card. I was willing to pay cash, but apparently you can’t. The host is very easy to reach snd accommodating. For couples or families this will be a gem!"
