"Spacious and well equipped bedroom. We had a balcony room with nice views over the neighbourhood. Excellent breakfast buffet and friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is situated in a very upmarket part of Harleem with a bus stop right by the hotel, as we travelled to the station most days for the train ride to Amsterdam. Overall a lovely 4 night stay."

"We didn’t get off to a good start as we were given a key to someone else’s room. Upon opening the door the room was full of someone else’s belongings. It’s not a nice feeling as it’s a real intrusion into someone’s privacy. "

"The proximity to the train was what sold us on this hotel. Just steps away, I worried it would be loud and/or not feel quite safe but I was wrong. Not a worry at all. The staff was wonderful to us, stored our luggage and prepared our room a little early, knowing that we had flown in from the states on an overnight flight. They didn't have to do that but they did with a smile and it was very much appreciated. The only reason I didn't give the hotel a perfect score is because they were renovating, so the entire hotel was covered in a white sheet and the scaffolding (and therefore the workers) were right outside our window, so we had to keep the drapes closed for out entire stay. We didn't spend much time in the room, so it wasn't a big deal. Also, we understood that it was a temporary situation that couldn't be avoided to keep the property looking great on the outside. The inside was impeccable and when you're laying your head down to sleep after a long day of exploring, that's what mattered the most. We would absolutely stay here again!"
