"Very friendly staff. Across from the bridge that is lit up at night. However, I wouldn’t walk around there at night. Nice updated and spacious rooms. It was just my husband and myself. The restaurant and waitress was very nice. Piano playing was beautiful in the evening in the restaurant. We only had breakfast there but it was very fresh and delicious. Close to attractions. "We spent a weekend in Waco and stayed at the Hotel 1928. The stay was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a drink in the bar and morning coffee in the library. A beautiful spot to relax and refresh. "

"The downtown aloft was a very good place to stay at. It has a nice pool and a good gym. It’s close to alot and is in a good area. I did come with my dog and this place was very nice and pet friendly. There’s area to walk your dog as well. And lots of food places nearby "
