This accommodation is advertised as a hostel, so I expected hostel. not hotel, accommodation. However I was pleasantly surprised! I had a small, but clean, comfortable single room, with a modern TV, hairdryer, wifi, and shower room. There was also a desk and chair and small, but adequate storage space. There was even a communal kitchen with hot drinks and biscuits provided.
Breakfast was limited by variety, but not quantity, but adequate.
The only thing that made me a bit nervous about my stay was the apparent lack of a fire escape. My room was at the top of the building and the winding access staircase appeared to be the only way out. There were signs and notices, but no obvious alternative escape route.
£45 is expensive for a hostel stay, but this one was worth it and in a much better state than some hotels I have visited, which cost more money.
