The day we were to arrive we got a message from the hotel to say that they were undergoing renovations and they would refund us for our breakfast charges and give us a free to-go breakfast one day. Annoying as we have a very picky eater and the buffet is a main reason we booked Premier Inn. When we arrived it took the counter staff ages to check us in as apparently there was something confusing about the booking in the system. She was very nice though. So...

"Friendly staff make such a difference. They were amazing. We had a cosy afternoon/evening relaxing by the open fire, enjoying a few drinks and nibbles. The room was was great. Although the door was a little hard to open and close. Will definitely stay there again "

"Arrived after dark, unable to gain acess to property. No security lighting, very limited parking and key broke in lock. On call seemed perturbed that we had called them out. After gaining access eventually found property had not been cleaned, no bedding , clearly untidy and very poor. Basically , inhabitable. Would not recommend this property."

Was ist passiert: Beim Einchecken war das Hotel leider nicht in der Lage zu verifizieren, dass wir über Expedia gebucht haben und Expedia dem Hotel das Geld (standardmäßig) über eine virtuelle Kreditkarte schon vor Wochen gutgeschrieben hatte.
