Lovely weekend stay
Really lovely pub with rooms, felt very welcome and well-looked after. Room was large & comfortable and as expected for a pub with rooms. Cooked to order breakfast was top notch. A lovely little village for autumnal walks right on the doorstep

4 night stay in August '23
I stayed for 4 nights breakfast was ample and very enjoyable having a hot cooked breakfast. The room was basic but clean I was out all day and needed somewhere close by to stay. The Inn on the Green provided this. Staff were polite and accomodating. As mentioned by others the property both externally and in the room I stayed could do with decorating. I would stay at this property agsin.

Tired & showing its age
A pleasant enough 2 night stay, but a very tired property thats really showing its age. Room very noisy with sound from the bar coming up into the room & problems with hot water. Also our of hours arrivals etc have to enter via an unmarked door though a messy store room - a little odd Bright sunshine from early morning as curtain not man enough to cover 2 windows . . .

Owner was amazing and made our breakfast early since we were leaving to the airport. Excellent food….both the breakfast and the dinner the night before.

Bank Holiday stay
We felt the accommodation was quiet and comfortable for the price we paid. Friendly hardworking landlady. Enjoyed breakfast, and meals were available. Those we had were very enjoyable.

Ideal!
Perfect stay. Quiet spacious pub with good choice of drinks including real ales. Food was perfect and reasonably priced, waitress was lovely and all the staff were friendly. The room was clean and quiet and a good size. I totally recommend this one.

Great service, friendly owner and lovely property. Rooms facing into the road can be a little noisy first thing in the morning but not really an issue. Lovely breakfast. Would strongly recommend!!

Good night’s stay
It was absolutely fine! Very welcoming landlady, and the supper that I had was outstanding. Breakfast was great, too. Incredible bacon! The building is a little tired, but it’s old, so understandable.

Very good 1 nights business stay at this lovely pub. Room was comfortable and excellent evening meal , can recommend both the BBQ chicken wings starter (nice level of spicy) and tasty ham, egg and chips. Happily recommend for a stay....

This is a very old building with plenty of character and charm, a few creaky stairs and slightly uneven floors only add to this and is perfectly acceptable for an Inn of its age! Lovely lovely landlord and landlady, Julie and Lauren made us feel very welcome, made sure we had all we needed (even taught us bar billiards!) on our weekend away with our (also very welcomed) dog! see you again soon! Great staff.
Nice quirky place, rooms fairly compact and bed a little wobbly but the staff were amazing. Really accomodating and I was leaving early the following morning so asked for breakfast to be ready for 8 and it was on the dot and tasted great!

Would definitely go back.
My husband stayed here for a couple of nights for work. He loves really old buildings, so this suited him perfectly, and he phoned me to say how much he was enjoying drinking a locally brewed beer and chatting to anyone who'd listen. He actually said he'd happily live there! I guess if you want shiny and modern it may not suit you, but he thought it was great

Old-World charm that new money just can't buy
a fantastic 15th Century Inn, the kind of atmosphere you can't buy: old oak beams in the rooms, creaky floorboards, nothing quite level or straight - I loved it! the owners are lovely people, the bar serves a wide range of nice beers, dinner was excellent and the cooked breakfast was perfect!

Excellent experience at the Inn on the Green
Julie her husband Lauren were extremely kind to me. All the staff at the green so attentive. The food was absolutely amazing and the rooms were soo clean. Weddings and towels were changed daily. Food was hot and freshly made in a short time. This was important after coming back from a long day and came back hungry. The local people who come to the bar were also so friendly.

Staff friendly, breakfast and dinner both good and nice range of beers. Parking was free and location was convenient for Horsham. My advice would be don't go for the cheapest single room - too small, noisey as located next to road and single-paned.

Never again.
This place has gone from fair to bad. Bedroom ok, no shaving mirror in tiny toilet basin area for shaving. Breakfasts were mediocre to poor. I shall never stay there again

brilliant for people with dogs
very friendly. good food. dogs being allowed was the reason we booked. they were so dog friendly it was lovely. excellent walks just across the road. although the rooms were not 5* for us they were because everything we needed was there. the bed was comfy and there was plenty of shelves/hanging space for belongings.

It’s a lovely setting and they are very friendly, just not best suited for someone on business. Room very small and I had to leave via fire exit before 8. Good food.
