The room was very small, it was hard to get around the bed with a suitcase. The price was quite high for the type of room. We had to pay extra for breakfast and they charged an extra fee for the second person. The staff were friendly and helpful, however our room was above the kitchen so we could not open the window and the room smelled of heavily spiced food. We paid $592 for 2 nights, definitely not worth the price.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hame on Skye. The property has a lovely casual atmosphere that mirrors the views. Our room was well appointed, breakfasts were fantastic! We had the haggis, Florentine and bean selections, all were equally delicious. The gathering room was cozy and comfortable offering intimate seating and group seating and the view from the restaurant was unmatched! Staff & owners were incredibly friendly and professional.

"Room not been cleaned on checking in at 4pm , we were given a key to a dirty ,unserviced room and then not given an alternative room until 8.30 pm. It was chaos as many other guests with same issue! Breakfast was £18 extra and was absolutely dreadful. So disappointed to see this lovely old hotel ..."
