"The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for Schaffhausen as it is opposite the station and adjacent to the old town. Everything is walkable and the Rhinefalls are easily accessible by train. The room was very quiet and well appointed.Breakfast was fabulous. "Do no judge this hotel on the photos, very Outdated. Hotel is Ok but starting to look a little run down. Rooms are very compact. Staff very friendly but hotel lets it down. If your expecting to see horses, you'll be disappointed, as they have been gone for a number of years now and equipment and school not used for a long time. Food at the hotel is also very expensive even for Switzerland standards, so would recommend eating out. Parking is also limited at the hotel and on a first come basis. "

"This is an older property, but it was clean and a short walk to the Rhein falls, our reason for being there. Sam and her husband Sunny were great in helping us get parked and orienting us to the area. They even stored some food overnight for us. King bed was comfortable and breakfast was great..eggs, yogurt, cheese ham, breads, cereals and fruit. For the price I’d highly recommend."
