"La chambre était propre , le personnel était courtois. Les installation sont un peu vieillissante (ventilateur de salle de bain et unité de chauffage bruyante). Le déjeuner était bon. Notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé. Très bon rapport qualifié prix. Je recommande cet endroit."

"Have stayed here many times but this was the worst. I love having a kitchen and washing machine. Unfortunately, the "newly" renovated rooms that were done first, a few years ago now, are already starting to fall apart because they picked such cheap fixtures. Also, there was one particular woman at reception (didn't catch her name, she has dark hair that she wears pulled back in a ponytail) who was so incredibly miserable to deal with. No matter what we requested she gave us a hard time. The other staff who work there are lovely, though."

"Staff friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Check-in and checkout easy and seamless. Assigned parking spot very helpful (paid parking is worth it). Our room, although dated furniture, very,very spacious and well appointed. If you have a longer stay, full kitchen amenities for cooking and storing groceries. Apartment sized refrigerator and stove. Full and free laundry room. Nice gym facility. Good selection of breakfast selection. Two rooms, one for VIP. Air purifiers in the hallways and rooms (nice touch). Additional blankets and extra towels in the bathroom. Cleaning staff friendly and will greet and acknowledge you in the hallways. Maclaren Restaurant/pub/poolhall on first floor. Good selection of pub food. Easy walk and Close to Parliament Hill, Byward Market, Rideau Canal. Suggestion: facing a busy street and on the 2nd floor, sheers would be helpful to allow for additional privacy if wanting to keep curtains open during the day. "

"The check in was quick and efficient, underground parking overnight for a reasonable fee was convenient. Our room was spacious and fresh. Proximity to Byward Market is a huge plus and offers lot of eating options; the pool and gym were nice and clean. Breakfast though offers limited options but is good enough to get you started for the day. Great experience. "

"The room was a little worn down (problems with the washroom faucet, wallpaper in the room was worn) . The staff was as per usual so kind, helpful and courteous. The restaurant was very good. "
