"New hotel that was more like a small apartment small kitchen space with everything you need to cook, washer and dryer in the bathroom layout was perfect. Well lit and very comfortable. Staff were fabulous. There’s also a market with a bunch of food and it’s not just snacks. It actually has things like eggs and bacon you can buy. There are restaurants within walking distance. And a movie cinema about four minutes away. It was truly an amazing place to stay. It was so comfortable and I felt that I needed nothing. They provided everything I would stay here and recommend this to anybody."

"Staff was great. Shower leaked (bad seal) and staff offered to send maintenance, but I said wait until we checked out. I did have to kill a couple yucky bugs in the room. Kind of a hipster vibe. "

"Room was fine. Location was excellent and parking was great. We stayed here since we were attending the Va Tattoo. Since one of us was not very mobile, it was helpful to have a restaurant in the hotel for breakfast and one dinner. We stayed three nights during the recent 90+ degree heat wave and the AC struggled with it. WiFi did not seem great as connecting some devices was difficult or did not work. The biggest complaint was only partially the hotel's problem. At checkout time there were no luggage carts to be found and we had to wait a while before we were able to bring our stuff down from our room. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful."

"The hotel is getting very tired. Our room sink had a broken stopper and the bathroom floor had something sticky spilt on it, Only one elevator worked so there was always a wait. The ice machine didn’t work. They only had coffee made in tge mirning, no hot water ot tea options. I think it was over priced for what you got"

"The room was very clean, the location was convenient, and the hotel was great for traveling with a dog. It is right by the highway and about 15 -20 minutes to the Boardwalk or First Landing State Park. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, especially Dominic at the front desk. The property itself is showing noticeable wear (ceiling, tub) and the standard room does not include a mini fridge. Overall, a solid budget-friendly, pet-friendly option with excellent staff, but a few issues with property upkeep. "
