Grand Hotel & Conference Centre Calgary Airport, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"Room was clean (except light switch next to bed was visibly grimy), and did not have any odors, could open the window for fresh air (and turn off heating/air-conditioning). Built-in Kleenex dispenser in bathroom was dis-functional, preventing access to the tissues). Stairs smell of cigarette smoke. Huge recycling bin, and tiny garbage can. Lighting was on the dim side. Bed pillows were ridiculously large for sleeping. Bed was reasonably comfortable (tad on soft side). Only two caffeinated coffee pods provided, but coffee at breakfast was plentiful. Breakfast itself was reasonable for price range, and structured to discourage taking any food away as snacks (e.g. no paper napkins, single flavor of yogurt served in a big open bin). Overall was fine, but not as good as stay at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Calgary-Airport, which I think is in similar price range and distance from airport."
Sandman Hotel Calgary Airport
8/10 Good
"No grab bar on the tub/shower enclosure. This shouldn’t be a special needs item, all bathrooms should be so equipped."
Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre
8/10 Good
"Clean room and helpful staff! Good hotel to stay at around events"
The Glenmore Inn & Convention Centre
8/10 Good
"Everything was great. Second time staying there. Only thing was they said the restaurants were open and the only one open was the lounge. Not so great for people who don’t drink and don’t like the noise of the lounge."
