Novotel Devonport
Good all around. Everything was as expected. The only thing to complain about was the quality of the breakfast. Arrived at around 9am, and everything was "stale". Bread didn't seem fresh. Hot food was just luke warm. Not much in terms of choice, and the taste was rather bland.

Comfort Inn Devonport
Excellent value, very clean and well maintained. The units are small but well laid out and equipped. There's even a full-sized ironing board. The aircon was running when I checked in and the remote actually worked. Nice big TV which I didn't use. The bed initially felt soft but it proved very comfortable. ...
