"We had high expectations (having read other reviews) and weren’t disappointed. It was a warm and welcoming hotel with very friendly staff who were keen to help and very smiley! Our apartment was huge and more than adequate for the 5 of us. We enjoyed use of the sauna several times during our stay and really liked the fresh ingredients at breakfast. Being in a country where we don’t speak the language it was great that the staff had an adequate grasp of English to answer our queries."

"The lodges are absolutely beautiful, and the setting is out of this world! There was nothing nicer than waking up in the morning and having breakfast in the cool air looking at the mountain range, and at night enjoying a glass of wine watching the beautiful sunset! The lodges are clean, cozy and have everything you will need! The host is very communative and happy to help with any questions that came up! It took us only about 10-15 minutes to drive into the town where there are many bars and restaurants! There is also a few supermarkets so we stocked up on what we needed to cook a lot of breakfast and dinners ourselves in the lodge, to allow us to have more time enjoying the beautiful scenery! I would highly recommend this accommodation and if we are ever back in the area will always return to this location!"

"This property has everything you could ask for, it is surrounded by pine trees, fields with a backdrop of snow capped mountains. There is parking right outside. You have a porch with seating and Mountain View’s. Inside you have a lovely big sofa and tv, the kitchen area is very well stocked with lots of appliances from toasted sandwich maker to pancake pans. The coffee machine is a nescafé Dulce gusto machine, they gave us 4 pods for 3 nights so not enough. You will have to buy some if staying longer. The bathroom is great and has a heated floor which was a nice touch, the is a washing machine with powder and fabric conditioner available along with an airer to dry clothes. Plenty of towels. The stairs are quite steep and could do with a hand rail for the top. Two bedrooms upstairs, main room has a nice big comfortable bed, beware of low sloping ceiling if you are window side of the bed. There is a travel cot in there and a little rail to hang things up. All windows have fly screens on and there is air con and heating in the property. The second bedroom had 2 single beds in much easier to use this room. It also has a little hanging space. Over all this was a fantastic house to stay in and a great location for the national park and Tara canyon. Sat nav takes you right to the front door. 100% recommended it and would stay again. "We had the best stay here possible! Staying here was the favorite part of our trip. Even though we ate vegetarian, we ate like Kings as beautiful, nutritious, and delicious meals were prepared for us. We really enjoyed being disconnected from social media here. More than anything, we loved meeting the camp staff and talking to them and hearing their stories. Shoutout to all the camp staff for making us feel so welcome and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our rafting experience at the beautiful Tara river. We would recomend this place for anyone wishing to experience a beautiful experience disconnecting from the rest of the world and feeling at peace with nature and connecting with people. The"
