"Lovely hotel set in the hills above the lake, with great views of the surrounding peaks, very comfortable room with a great balcony. There's a rooftop bar and restaurant which was lovely, plus a ground floor bar, restaurant and infinity pool. Breakfast was delicious with great choices and good coffee! The staff were attentive and pleasant."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Cubes, it was a few minutes out of Ella which meant it was a peaceful escape from the bustling town and an easy tuk tuk ride into town. "We stayed a night on our ‘honeymoon tour’ of Sri Lanka and it was really amazing! The hotel is beautiful and the view incredible! The food was delicious and the staff were so kind and attentive. It was just the taste of luxury we were hoping for! We did a couples spa treatment - think it’ll be hard to ever beat that experience, a stunning view and beautiful bird song / nature sounds whilst having a heavenly massage! We’ll always have such lovely memories of our stay. "

"We had an excellent stay in that property (3nights March 2025) It located on the hill so the views from the balcony are spectacular. Still just a few steps from the center of town. Very good breakfast with lots of options. Exceptional stuff, especially the manager who was very informative, helpful and kind. The only down was the bathroom which I'd say needed some renovations and the noise coming from the construction going on at the front of the hotel but I understand at some point they have to do it. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"
