"WOW! The price we paid for this room is outrageous! This place is terrible. I'd file a complaint to get my money back if possible. Doesn't look ANYTHING like the pics. We were the ONLY people staying at the hotel. It was like out of a bad horror movie. No phone, no TV, no amenities. It was basically a roof over our heads for almost $400 per night!! "

Part of this appeal is due to the friendly interactions with Ms Icis Malone, the proprietress, and her son. As the the stay was in February, the night breeze was cool enough to leave off the air-conditioning. I was able to eat some guavas straight off the tree next to our staircase! "I was very happy with the hotel outside of the fact that I booked a premium king suite with ocean view which I verified with staff. When I arrived to the room I noted that there were two double maybe full sized beds. When I alerted staff they simply stated my room selection was not guaranteed because I booked with Expedia even though front desk staff stated moments earlier that was the room I was to receive. "
