"The property is lovely - nice rooms, great shower - but the food is just okay. We had a great stay and the staff was very friendly. It is fairly easy to get into Tangalle itself from this property, though you will likely need to organize transportation because walking down the main road to get into town is a bit harrowing (a tuk tuk will be $1-2 USD each way). "Stayed 2 nights in August. Spacious hotel with plenty to explore, we wished we'd had more time to make the most of all the facilities. Had a small hiccup with our room allocation at check-in, but the team resolved it quickly and professionally. Food was a highlight - great buffet breakfast with a wide selection, and good options across the various restaurants on site. We also played 18 holes of golf; the caddies were professional, polite and added a lot to the experience. Would recommend for a relaxing stay with plenty of facilities to enjoy, just make sure you allow enough time to see it all."

"We stayed in the King Coco room which was great. Large room, large bathroom, comfortable king size bed and a balcony with seating and garden furniture with a pool and sea view. Suresh and the team at Coco Tangalla were excellent. They were extremely helpful and attentive we felt we could ask them anything. Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, homemade juices, delicious coffee and a choice of main breakfast, either Sr Lankan, European/American or healthy option. Pool area was very clean with comfortable sunbeds. Would definitely consider coming back."
