"This was a luxurious stay. The setting is great, the cabin was clean and comfortable. The shower was odd though, as it only has an on and off setting, meaning you can't control the power of the jet, which resulted in excess water spilling over as there is also no way to control the direction of the shower head."

"The situation in a woodland property was nice. The interior was nice , although probably more rustic than luxury. It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. We had to get lots more firewood from the woodpile especially kindling as we lit the fire each morning and evening. The living area was quite dark. The room was beautifully decorated, tea and coffee facilities excellent, the bathroom was luxurious and we even had our own lounge room with a large selection of films on offer, viewed on a huge screen. The breakfasts were lovely. Our hosts, Noel and Diana, are delightful and great company. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Rouge. Highly recommended!"
