This is a great hotel in the best location in Suva. All the staff were particularly friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed the wide range of foods at the buffet breakfast, in particular the fresh fruit. We also enjoyed the luxurious decor and grandness of the hotel. The seating around the hotel was very comfortable and it was nice to get cushions for sunset hour by the pool.

We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. It was spotlessly clean throughout, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The recent refurbishment has given the place a modern and fresh look, which we really liked. The staff were a real highlight — incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist with anything we needed. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Overall, a great experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great location for all the family to relax and chill. Loads to do, all well organised (tramping, fishing, surfing, kayaks, island tours, village tours, snorkelling with sharks...) just remember it’s all on Fiji time!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Most of the staff lived in the village next door which was lovely, as we were able to to experience the village such seeing their church, village hall and some of the ladies who lived there and their Handicrafts. Food selection was average, but the chefs was happy to cook food to order if there wasn't anything suitable on the menu. Room was clean and tidy with air con and a lovely outdoor shower. Location was a bit secluded but was on a beautiful beach front...

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with this place - if you're looking for tranquillity in a harmonious, stunning setting right by the beach but without the trappings of the big resorts, you would struggle to beat Wellesley. We came here for our honeymoon, and we're outdoor types so loved the fact we could head out on massive treks along the white beaches (which are teeming with life by the way), or take to the kayaks or go off snorkelling (both free). We really enjoyed our stay. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and more than we could eat. Food in the restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The room was spacious and comfortable and the wifi and AC worked very well. It as a short walk to the beach and shops, but a taxi only costs 4 Fijian dollars.
