"It was strange arriving as nobody was there to greet us and all the doors were locked. We thought the hotel was closed because we could not understand why the doors were locked and all the lights were off. Finally after a few minutes we found a doorbell to which I man came scurrying out. He claimed he didnt have our reservation and we had to debate for 20 minutes because of the Italian to English language barrier. Nobodoy there could speak any english at all. So It was difficult. "For those not familiar with the concept it’s like a B&B in a working farm. It’s located in a very old and beautiful Tuscan farm house. The service was great, breakfast was amazing very local and seasonal…we had eggs with black truffle found on the farm. The farm is 100% organic and so is all the food. Property is beautiful but we were exploring the area so did not spend too much time there. It’s also convenient to the train with a very cheap taxi and super close to lots of amazing wineries. I...
