Externally the hotel looked a little drab and rundown but that just gave the wrong impression to our actual experience. Staff went out of their way to help. "Overall it’s really only a 3 star BnB. The check in experience is not as welcomed, the staff had a rather cold attitude. The room is not as clean as the reviews by other people. The floor is not clean and very dusty-just walked barefoot about 10 minutes you get black feet. The shower head is leaking. The yellow chaise lounge is very old and weary, the fabrics got so many stains! The bedside lamps were off-we had to fix the bulbs in order to get it working. The air con filter was super dusty...

"Very nice hotel. It may be 30 years old, the room was very nice and does not feel old. The hot spring soak tub in the room was wonderful. The buffet for dinner was ok. Enough choices of decent food. All staff were friendly and helpful. The property is on a steep hill so it isn’t as easy to walk down and up. But the hotel has shuttle to local attractions as well as the train station."

"This hotel is a fun, hip option in the area...it was definitely my kids favorite hotel out of the 5 we stayed in during our trip to Taiwan. Our only problem was finding it, since there were no signs to identify it. However, when we called from a nearby 7-11 they came promptly & we followed them by car & we were only a half block away. The room was comfortable & modern with a small balcony but no ocean view (we weren't expecting one) but not sure if the 3rd floor would or not? There is a HUGE...
