Orbitz does NOT forward messages on to the hotel I learned. I was cancelled as a no-show. The Windsor Suites staff recognized my predicament, and even though my room reservation had been cancelled, and the only room avaiable was a suite that was 3x the rack rate of the room I reserved, they moved me into the more expensive room -- and at a LOWER rate than what Orbitz had quoted for a standard suite. The room was roomy, clean, well stocked, quiet, and comfortable. This was Orbitz's last chance as I have had multiple reservation problems over the years. In the future, I will use them to search for a hotel and rate, but ALWAYS call the property directly."
