"The rooms are dated but clean. No microwaves in the rooms and smaller than standard mini fridges make this place very inconvenient for a 4 night stay. My biggest annoyance was that the very limited gym was unbearably hot (well over 30 degrees celcius) and while maintenance did come to try to adress the heat it could not be fixed, and they were unable to open the windows or unlock the door to the terrace to let some cool April air in... Also having no coffee in the lobby in the mornings is hugely inconvenient! The restaurant attached keeps inconvenient morning hours. Being unable to get coffee before 8am on site is frustrating and atypical in 2026."

"The room was lobby was lovely, and the room was clean. We had pre-ordered champagne to the room for our evening arrival and it was not there. The front desk was dismissive when we went to ask about it and did not make it right. Overall the hotel location was on point, very accessible for walking the gardens and Citadel Hill. I would likely not stay again though as the initial arrival service was truly lacking, there are only some many getaways one gets and I’d prefer a hotel that is responsive."

"A little run down with some maintenance and a fresh coat of paint needed. Little details like business cards badly cut out from photocopied paper was indicative of the rest of the hotel and its need for a little care"
