"The Beau Rivage was a very local hotel. The staff spoke very little English, which is something to be aware of if you don't speak French. The staff were very friendly, but didn't know much about getting around; how to arrange a visit to La Citadelle or the buses to the Dominican Republic. I went to another hotel to arrange this. The reception was a mess with wilted flowers and outdated posters, and the carpet in my room was so dirty I rolled it up in the corner. Otherwise the hotel has a good...

"STAY AWAY- I plan on travel to Haiti, I booked to stay there for a whole week. I landed in port au prince-Due to political issue, I never made it to the hotel. I called customer service to get a refund . They refused to issue a refund. SO, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE"
